I have recently completed my studies in a Diploma of Early Childhood and Care.  Throughout the course, I gained 240 hours of vocational experience at two different centres; long day care and in a kindergarten setting.  Prior to commencing my studies, I was living and working in Japan.  In Japan, I was an English instructor for children in an International Preschool for a bout 8 years, this is where my love for teaching children developed.

I am a dedicated educator with a passion for children's learning and care, I believe that children learn best through hands on experiences that are based on their developmental needs, interests, and strengths.  My approachable and friendly demeanour has anabled me to establish and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children and families from diverse backgrounds.  In addition to being a very organised educator, I am creative and motivated, and sensitive to children's individual needs.  I posses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
