I have worked in the childcare industry since 1991, mostly in Brisbane, as well as briefly in the UK in 2014/15.  The majority of my experience has been in Outside School Hours Care, where I have worked for over fifteen years, in various assisant roles, including filling in for Co-ordinators when needed, if they have been on holiday, sick, have left or suchlike. I have done nearly every duty necessary in this job, both during school terms and on the holidays. I have been on, and have sometimes led, numerous excursions, anywhere from small parks to zoos.

Most recently, I have worked in daycare for almost three years, two of these fulltime as a Kindergarten assistant.  During this period, I filled in if the teacher was away, and also looked after the running of the room when we had no teacher at all.  I contributed to Group Times, craft, games and singing, as well as Learning Stories and writings of curriculums.  I have also worked in the younger rooms as needed.  

I am familiar with the National Quality Standard.

I am just nterested in finding casual work for the time being.
