I hold a Diploma Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care. I am a mother of two young boys with a passion for children’s learning and care. I completed my placement with children aged birth to five in Mudgeeraba. I am currently a stay at home mum looking to go back into the workplace of my chosen career since becoming a parent.
During my study period I was responsible for delivering creative learning and play activities for up to 15 children within the toddler room, although worked across all the age groups throughout the centre. I worked closely with my supervisor and team members to create creative meaningful play based learning to strengthen social development.
I like to be very organised and have close attention to detail when planning and implementing play based learning. I am creative, enthusiastic and pride myself on being sensitive to children’s individual needs.
I strive on good communication both written and verbal, as well as solid computer skills.
I hold a Diploma Of Early Childhood Education And Care(2017), a current first aid certificate, including anaphylaxis and asthma training, along with a positive Working With Children blue card and fit to work
I believe that the quality of education a child receives in the early years is the foundation for transitioning through schooling into adulthood all children should have access to quality learning and care. These notions are encapsulated in the Early Years Learning Framework, whose principles I fully support.
